Peer Academic Ambassadors are a select group of biology student volunteers who share a passion for biology at UC San Diego. They assist the Undergraduate Programs and Support Services staff with various advising efforts by offering the unique perspective of a student in the School of Biological Sciences. Peer Academic Ambassadors support fellow students taking biology courses or declared as biology majors or minors, are trained to advise student populations in a professional academic setting, create and make available relevant academic student support information, and represent the School as peer leaders at various info sessions and outreach events.
